Bright, deep red cherry colour.

Intense aromas of very ripe fruit, toast, toffee and spices.

Unctuous, velvety and balanced on the palate, with a good, high-quality tannic structure.

Varietal

85% Tempranillo, 5% Mazuelo, 10% Graciano

Winemaking

Alcoholic fermentation for 10 days at 28ºC, with skin contact maceration for 20 days. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 18ºC.

ABV

14,0% vol.

Ageing

Two years American oak barrel ageing is used, with 5% of the wine in French oak, followed by a minimum of twelve months’ bottle ageing prior to release.

Food pairing

Wide sort of red meats, baked lamb, woodcock, big game, stew, pulses.
