The 2005 Joven is a tank aged blend of 75% Tempranillo and 25% Garnacha from young vines. This tasty, dark ruby-colored wine has plenty of spicy cherry and currant aromas and flavors, medium body, and good intensity and length. Drink this excellent value over the next 1-2 years.

The 2003 Crianza is medium ruby-colored with an expressive nose of cedar, cinnamon, red currants, and black raspberry. This is followed by a supple-textured, ripe, medium-bodied wine with no hard edges (atypical for a 2003 Rioja). Drink this nicely balanced, fruit-driven Rioja over the next 6 years.

The 2001 Reserva is dark ruby with a classic nose of cedar, spice box, tobacco, black cherry, and black currant. Velvety on the palate like a high-class Pinot Noir, this elegant, ripe, medium-bodied, nicely delineated Rioja can be enjoyed now and over the next 8 years.
